Basement conversion and extension to a Victorian terrace
This conversion gave the client much needed additional living space for their growing family, and forms a better connection between the house and the rear yard area.
The basement was also extended to further enhance the space while providing a roof terrace. The terrace allows far reaching views towards a local castle landmark and provides an external habitable space to enjoy the sunset. The terrace is accessible directly from the upper kitchen and dining level and contains a glass floor which brings additional light to the basement area.
